Traditional Cremation Service
The first and most popular is a traditional funeral service followed by cremation. This service consists of a visitation and funeral service for friends and family. The cremation will take place after the service and the cremated remains will be returned to the family.
Cremation Memorial Service
Our second type of cremation service consists of a memorial service with the urn present instead of a casket. The memorial service is similar to a traditional funeral service and held in our funeral home. After the service, the urn may be buried at a cemetery or the family may take the remains home depending on what has been predetermined.
Direct Cremation Service
Our third option is a basic service called direct cremation, also known as “immediate cremation” or “simple cremation”. This cremation service does not involve any type of memorial or funeral service. After cremation, the remains are returned directly to the family. The cremation cost for this service starts at $995.
The cost of cremation will vary based on the type of service you chose. Our staff will provide information to you on the different cremation processes and provide costs to help you in making your decisions.
Once you have determined the type of cremation service you prefer, you will also need to consider if you desire a permanent resting place for your love one that you can visit. There are a couple of cremation memorialization options for our Surfside Beach families to consider which include ground burial, memorial benches and pedestals or a placement in a cremation garden or niche.
